PURPOSE:To provide an ink set which produces a black printed matter of good fixation properties and character quality level forming the image density sufficient in practical use and has the resistance to water and no bronze phenomenon. CONSTITUTION:In an ink combining a liquid composition containing cationic substance with black ink, the black ink is a water-soluble anion dye and contains a black dye and a cyanogen dye and/or a yellow dye combinedly.
