PURPOSE:To obtain a label base material for controlling cleaning which can be printed by thermal transfer and has good solvent resistance, water resistance, and heat resistance by forming an image receiving layer which is made of a cured product of polyurethane with a specified softening temperature and an isocyanate crosslinking agent and has specified Beck smoothness at least on one side of a laundry resistant paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving layer which is made of a cured product of polyurethane with a softening temperature of 180 deg.C or more and an isocyanate crosslinking agent and has Beck smoothness of 50-200sec. is formed at least on one side of a laundry resistant paper sheet. As a result, a label base material for controlling dry cleaning and laundry which can be printed by thermal transfer and has good dry cleaning resistance, laundry resistance, solvent resistance, water resistance, heat resistance, and abrasion resistance. |
