PURPOSE:To remove a function code for designating a printing source from a printing data itself to be sent by a printing data sending side at the time of printing. CONSTITUTION:In a host computer 31, a line print control code is arranged at a head of each line. After that, a printing data consisting of a string of only character codes is transferred to a printer device 32. At the printer device 32, a function code is outputted corresponding to each character code of each line at a function code generating section 43. Based on it, a printing attribute information section 42 lets a printing source application section 41 select a printing source. Thus, each character pattern is expanded on a print output buffer 44 by using a desired printing source and printing is performed at a printing section 45. |
