PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of a printing mechanism in a voltage failure by sending out energy to a control means at the time of power failure by an energy reservoir to load a regulation means and bringing at least one cylinder to a printing cylinder throw-off position with respect to each printing unit. CONSTITUTION: A control means 47 is connected to an electric energy reservoir 51 and a relay 40 is closed during operation and a break contact 44 is opened and the control means 47 does not respond. At the time of the voltage failure, a relay 46 is opened and the break contact 44 is closed to discharge the energy of a condenser 54 through a break contact 36 and, therefore, a piston 57 moves toward a right terminal position. By this constitution, a blanket cylinder is revolved by shift quantity (d) in the direction separated from both of an impression cylinder and a plate cylinder and, even if paper winding is generated, a printing mechanism consisting of the impression cylinder, the blanket cylinder and the plate cylinder is not damaged. |
