COATING METHOD OF ACID TOLERANCE-COATED ROLL SUPPORTING BAR

PURPOSE: A coating method of an acid tolerance-coated roll supporting bar is provided, therefore, the durability of the roll supporting bar can be improved because the acceleration of corrosion by scratch produced during production can be inhibited. CONSTITUTION: The method for coating acid tolerance-coated roll supporting bar comprises the steps of: mixing methyltriethoxysilane(MTES) with alcohol at room temperature; adding a mixed solution of water, nitric acid and dimethylformamide(DMF) into the mixture and reacting them at 80 deg.C for 2 hours; cooling the solution to room temperature to produce a coating sol; and coating the roll supporting bar with the coating sol, in which the concentration of MTES in the sol is 0.15 to 0.45 mole; the sol solvent is 2 to 4 mole of ethanol hydrolysis water; the nitric acid is used as a pH regulating agent in the amount of 0.2 to 0.4 mole of; pulling rate is 5 to 10 cm/minute; and the heating temperature is 400 to 440 deg.C.
