EFFICIENT ONE PASS TREATMENT PROCESS OF CARBON DIOXIDE

PURPOSE: An efficient one pass treatment process of carbon dioxide is provided to increase a treatment efficiency of carbon dioxide by appropriately treating the residual gas after preparing methanol from carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION: The efficient one pass treatment process of carbon dioxide comprises the steps of absorbing carbon dioxide in carbon dioxide contained raw material gas(A) and discharging the residual gas into the atmosphere in a carbon dioxide absorption unit(B); simultaneously transferring the absorbed carbon dioxide into a catalyst reactor(E) via a compressor(C) and a heater(D), and transferring hydrogen to the catalyst reactor(E) via the compressor(C) and the heater(D) through other lines; producing methanol and water by reacting carbon dioxide and hydrogen transferred to the catalyst reactor(E); separating the condensed product into a liquid phase consisting of methanol and water and a gas phase consisting of hydrogen and carbon dioxide in a separator(G) after condensing the product through a cooler(F); separately discharging methanol and water in the condensate, absorbing hydrogen in the gas phase in a hydrogen absorber(H) and carbon dioxide in the gas phase in a carbon dioxide absorber(I), and separately collecting residual gas; and recycling the recovered hydrogen and carbon dioxide in the methanol production process.
