摘要 The invention relates to a process for making ceramic products as well as to a ceramic material for applying said process. The process consists in sintering a ceramic material comprising kaolin, talc, steatite, alum earth, aluminium hydroxide and other additions at a temperature ranging from 700 degree to 1,450 degree C. The ceramic material is subjected to a grinding operation up to a granulation ranging from 18 to 36%, for 6...12 h, in a common corundum ball mill, in an acid medium consisting of a solution of chlorine hydride having a concentration ranging from 2 to 7%. The weight ratio starting material-mixture : corundum balls : acid solution is 3 : 2 : 2. After repeated washing with water, the ground material is dried at temperatures ranging between 100 to 130 degree C, is homogenized and dosed by weight for further treatment during the sintering phase. The ceramic material has catalytic properties corresponding to the field of application. Said material comprises, by weight percentage, 40...80% of ceramic mixture treated with an acid solution, 22...45% of talc or steatite, 4...17% of aluminium hydroxide and possibly, 0.1...3.5% of additions consisting of chromium trioxide, chromic anhydride, nickel oxide, manganese oxide, copper oxide and cerium dioxide.
