PURPOSE: A PAPW/CDMA(Polarity Alternated Pulse Width/Code Division Multiple Access) modulating and demodulating method is provided to improve a power efficiency of an amplifier by binarizing a level of an output signal and uniformly maintaining a signal level. CONSTITUTION: Levels of CDMA signals of inputted several channels are truncated for decreasing the number of level. The decreased level according to every chip is converted into a pulse width so that a level of a modulation signal is uniformly maintained. A pulse by every chip of the modulation signal converted into the pulse width is started from a high level to a low level.
