PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the heat cycle life of an article under actual usage conditions by giving the heat cycle of the temperature distribution of evaluation conditions to the article so that temperature distributions under the actual use conditions of the article and evaluation conditions satisfy specific conditions. SOLUTION: When the absolute value of the deviation value between standardization temperature distribution in the evaluation conditions of an article, and that in the actual usage conditions of the article is less than a specific value, it is guaranteed that a constraint rate in the actual usage conditions essentially coincides with that in the evaluation conditions. Therefore, without giving a heat cycle in the actual usage conditions where the amount of thermal expansion cannot be easily measured by a distortion gauge due to high temperature to the article, and merely giving a heat cycle in evaluation conditions for measuring the amount of thermal expansion with the fact that the absolute value of deviation is less than a specific value as a condition to the article, the constraint rate of the article can be obtained, and the heat cycle life of the article can be evaluated based on the constraint rate. The maximum temperature of the heat cycle and the constraint rate of the article are used as a parameter, thus evaluating the heat cycle life of the article.
