PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring metal fitting for installing a cover body in which a rod part of a spring main body need not be held by fingers in installing the cover body. SOLUTION: This V-shaped spring metal fitting for installing a cover body 11 comprising a shade of a fluorescent lamp or an indoor light distribution plate frame of a sunlight lighting device onto a ceiling member is provided with a spring main body connected to the cover body 11 at a base end, opened in V-form at a tip, and provided with hook parts 21 at respective tips of rod parts 19. The ceiling member 13 is provided with a slit 13a through which the hook parts 21 can be inserted to narrow the interval between the V-opened rod parts 19 of the spring main body 17 ot a specified interval W, and a ring metal fitting 23 is engaged between the rod parts 19 of the spring main body 17 to be movable between the base end and the tip of the spring main body 17, so by moving the ring metal fitting 23 to the tip of the spring main body 17, the interval between the rod parts 19 can be narrowed to the specified interval W. |
