摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissipate waste heat outputted from a prime mover without increasing constituting instruments when the demand of cold is low by a method wherein a means for supplying liquid, condensed in a condenser, to a regenerator is operated when a cold heat load is low and the waste heat of the prime mover, which enters the reproducer, is excessive. SOLUTION: A cold water temperature is reduced when the load of an instrument, demanding cold, is mall and, therefore, the reduction of the demand is judged by an operator 24 from a signal obtained by a detecting terminal and the number of rotation of a solution pump 39 is increased to increase the circulating flow rate of absorbing material between a regenerator 31 and an absorber 33. On the other hand, a flow rate regulating valve 40 is opened to send a part of water into the reproducer 31. Accordingly, the amount of water flowing into an evaporator 34 is reduced and the amount of heat, deprived of circulating water by the latent heat of evaporation of the water, is reduced. A part of the waste heat (hot-water) is sent into the condenser 32 through water evaporated in the reproducer 31, then, is discharged out of the cooling tower through cooling water 27. Further, a part of the waste heat is sent into the absorber 33 through the absorbing material to discharge the same from the cooling tower through cooling water 27.
