PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the restoration of lighting in the indicating unit of a remote controller and improve the property of convenience by a method wherein transmission of a detecting signal of existence of exiting of an indicating unit for a remote controller is controlled by detecting the existence of exiting of a driving member or the thermal change of a temperature sensitive member through a detecting means, detecting the energization of a driving member such as a ventilating fan or the like or the thermal change of the temperature sensitive member. SOLUTION: Upon starting hot-water supplying operation, the operating switch of a remote controller 6 is turned on and when a user closes a hot-water supplying cock to stop the supply of hot-water, the lowering of the flow rate of output hot-water is detected by a water amount sensor 12. In this case, the operation switch is judged whether the same is opened or not by a user in the remote controller 6 and when the operation is not effected, the remote controller is shifted to a waiting condition and the lighting of picture of the indicating unit 7 for the remote controller is stopped. On the other hand, when turning-off operation is not effected and a period of time, in which a predetermined flow rate or more of water is not detected, is continued for a predetermined period of time after stopping the discharge of hot-water, the lighting of indicating picture of the remote controller 6 is stopped or the reducing measure of power consumption is set whereby wasteful power consumption is restrained.
