PURPOSE:To enhance the effect of hemostasis by setting an angle between the holding part of a clip and an arm part to an obtuse angle. CONSTITUTION:A clip 13 is fabricated through such processes as bending a stainless steel-made thin band plate at its central part to form its basic end part 13a, forming a pair of movable insertion parts 13b, 13b' extending from the basic end part 13a and holding there in a space wider than the inner diameter of a ring 15 for tightening the clip. And stretching it further, to have both arm parts 13c, 13c' crossed each other. Holding parts 13d, 13d' are formed by bending their point parts so as to face each other. Then, an angle between the holding part 13d and the arm part 13c, and that between the holding part 13d' and the arm part 13c' are set to be obtuse angles of about 135 deg.. Therefore, when the work of holding living body tissue 18 is performed by the clip 13, the holding parts 13d, 13d' can be oriented in the direction close to that of the vertical face to the living body tissue 18 in the state of the arm parts 13c, 13c' of the clip 13 opened to the maximum. Thus, the clip can be sunk into a deep part trying to hold the living body tissue 18 between its arms. |
