PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transmission of image data from being interrupted on the way of transmission by taking measures even in a state of operation by a battery. SOLUTION: An image to be transmitted is selected (step S20), while a battery is checked to detect a remaining capacity of the battery on the other hand (step S22). Then whether or not image data can be sent to the end is discriminated, on the basis of a data amount of the selected image and the detected residual capacity of the battery (step S24). When it is discriminated that the transmission of the image data is disable, a message denoting image transmission disable is displayed, and the transmission of the image data is inhibited at the time (step S28). Thus, the interruption of the transmission of the image data on the way due to a drained battery can be prevented.
