PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent and simple demand monitoring device wherein an abrupt increase in power consumption as well as in demand value that follows it are easily and automatically known and reported with no burden on an operator, for avoiding needless rising of subscription power. SOLUTION: A simple demand monitoring device 10 is provided which is freely attached/detached from a high-voltage reception device 3. The simple demand monitoring device 10 predicts an average value, or demand value, of power consumption during a specified hours since a commercial AC power source is fed (restoration from power failure), and if the demand value exceeds the preset value, it is reported with an alarm. |
