PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter excellent in a color correcting function, an adhesive property and a reflection preventing function and to provide a picture display device excellent in contrast and picture color reproducibility. SOLUTION: A pre-coated layer having at least one layer constituted essentially of a polymer having >=1 Mpa and <=1,000 Mpa elasticity at 25 deg.C and a filter layer in the visible region are successively laminated on one surface of a transparent substrate and as the need arises the pre-coated layer having at least one layer constituted essentially of a polymer having >=1 Mpa and <=1, 000 Mpa elasticity at 25 deg.C and a reflection preventing layer are successively laminated on the other surface of the transparent substrate to form this optical filter. And a picture display device utilizing the optical filter is provided. |
