<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input/detection device which can enable its operator to know the input start/end timing to decrease the wrong input operations and also to enable the user to know an input state to always perform a stable coordinate input operation. SOLUTION: In this coordinate input/detection device, a coordinate input/ detection device which detects the coordinates inputted to a panel by means of a finger or a pen and by a method other than an optical method is provided with a light emitting diode 11 which emits the light approximately parallel to the panel, a phototransistor 12, a signal generator 16 which generates a buzzer tone that can be observed by an operator of the input/detection device and a signal processing circuit 14 which controls the generator 16 according to the light that received by the phototransistor 12 and then operates the generator 16 in response to the operation of the pen, etc.</p> |
