PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the copyright of a video information provider related to a still picture extracted from moving image information or still picture information when constructing a still picture data service. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an information providing medium 1 for supplying the moving image information or still picture information added with a print control descriptor on the print-out of a still picture 10, a printer 3 for printing the still picture 10 based on the moving image information or still picture information provided by this information providing medium 1, and a still picture print controller 2 for detecting the print permission flag of the still picture 10 from the print control descriptor added to the moving image information or still picture information and controlling the print-out of the printer 3 on the basis of that print permission flag of the still picture 10. Only when the print permission flag of the still picture 10 is described in the print control descriptor on the side of video information provider, the print-out of the printer 3 can be permitted and when the print non-permission of the still picture 10 is described in that print control descriptor, the print-out of the printer 3 can be inhibited. |
