PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drive and couple an input member and an output member without causing impact force by positioning at least either of the input member or the output member when they are driven and coupled. SOLUTION: A positioning means 70 is provided with a positioning lever 72 obtained by forming a tooth tip 71 which can be engaged and disengaged with/from an output gear 65 at one end. The lever 72 is supported so as to be freely turned through a pin 73 in the middle area thereof. Besides, the lever 72 is provided with a spring 74 pressing counterclockwise turning force with the pin 73 as a center and a solenoid 75 at a position opposed to the spring 74. Since the tip 71 of the lever 72 is engaged with the gear 65 by the action of the spring 74 when the solenoid 75 is set in a normal off-state, the positioning means 70 holds the lock state of the gear 65. Then, when a multicolor developing device is rotated, the input gear of a developing unit arriving at a developing position is surely meshed with the gear 65 because the gear 65 stands still. |
