PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, small, and compact display device with a appealing power and a long service life using a relatively small amount of light emitting elements. SOLUTION: This display device 1 comprises a display portion that comprises a frame body 3 having a display partition on its front surface and a rear plate, and includes a translucent member provided so as to cover a light emitting element arranged on a display plate mounted to the rear plate in the display partition, a control portion comprising a power supply for control, a central processing unit, and a setting switch, and an external power supply 60. The display portion and the control portion are stored in a common box, the external power supply 60 is formed with a separate box body and electrically connected. In addition, a plurality of other display devices can be displayed synchronously.
