PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a deviation problem of mark by recording the length of a data mark so that the difference between the time difference between an irradiation starting time and an irradiation ending time of a recording laser and the length of data mark is made shorter as the length of a data mark goes longer in the length range of the data mark to be recorded by the same recording pattern. SOLUTION: The jitter is rapidly deteriorated because that the pit deviation grows worse as the mark length goes longer in the case of an optical recording medium to use a derivative of porphyrin as the recording layer. The phenomenon to become physically shorter as the mark length goes longer, namely the diviation deterioration, can be prevented by controlling the time difference to satisfy the relational expression: (nT-Tint(nT))>=((nT+1)-Tint(nT+1))>=((nT +2)-Tint(nT+2)) in the length range of the data mark to be recorded by the same recording pattern when the recording laser irradiation starting time is defined as t top (nT), the recording laser irradiation ending time as t end (nT) and the difference between them as Tint (nT). |
