PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device used to record/reproduce for a high recording speed and stably reproducible a recorded signal optical information recording medium. SOLUTION: This optical head device 1 is provided with a first laser element 11 emitting a laser beam of a first wavelength, a second laser element 21 emitting the laser beam of a second wavelength (containing the wavelength equal to the first wavelength) and a polarizing beam splitter 31 irradiatively collecting the laser beam emitted from the second laser beam simultaneously with the laser beam from the first laser element onto a recording layer of an optical disk D, and when information is recorded, the laser beams from respective laser elements are used simultaneously. Further, the wavelength of the laser beam emitted from at least one side laser element is set in the wavelength of the high energy absorption amount of the recording layer of the optical disk. |
