PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission stressless to the interactive user of a computer control display by storing an alternate cursor image as pixel array during the display of the present cursor image, and substituting the present cursor image by the alternate cursor image. SOLUTION: A text/graphic image displayed on a screen is stored as a pixel array image in a frame buffer 45 under the control of a graphic controller 44. A cursor image system 47 supplies a cursor image. A DAC 50 is controlled by the cursor image system 47 to superpose an image on the screen image in a cursor hot spot. The smooth switching between multiple alternate cursor images is performed in a cursor image control circuit.
