PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably carry out peeling without damaging an image, recording material and heat fixing member. SOLUTION: This fixing device is provided with a 1st rotating body 1 having a heat source 1a and rotated in a specified direction and a 2nd rotating body 2 which is rotated in contact with the body 1. The recording material 3 carried with an unfixed image 4 on its surface on the side in contact with the 1st rotating body 1 is conveyed to nip part N where two rotating bodies 1 and 2 are brought into contact with each other, and the recording material 3 and the unfixed image 4 are heated and pressurized to fix the unfixed image on the recording material 3. In this case, a peeling sheet 5 for peeling of the recording material that is faced to a surface of the 1st rotating body 1 is provided more downstream in the rotating direction of the 1st rotating body than the nip part N, the peeling sheet 5 is provided with a continuous curvature part 6 with no pointed part on its end edge on a side faced to the 1st rotating body 1 and at least the end edge of this continuous curvature part 6 is coated with a releasing coating layer 7.
