PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge a battery used for a film unit with a lens after having taken a specified number of frames of photographs. SOLUTION: A pulse counter 35 is arranged on a stroboscope substrate 31. The pulse counter 35 counts the number of contact times of synchronizing armatures 34a, 34b of a trigger switch. The number of setting times of the pulse counter 35 is set to a specified number of frames of photographs. When the number of the contact times reaches the set contact times, the pulse counter outputs a signal to a 1st switch 36 and a 2nd switch 37 to be turned on. The 1st switch 36 connects a battery for a stroboscope 33 with a first discharge resister 39 in series at the time of being turned on. The 2nd switch 37 connects a battery 51 for an IC with a 2nd discharge resister 40 in series at the time of being turned on. The batteries 33, 51 are discharged by each of the discharge resisters 30, 40.
