PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot-line deterioration diagnosing apparatus for advancing a measuring work for diagnosing a hot-line deterioration without contact with an existing ground wire for diagnosing the hot-line deterioration and automatically finishing it after a diagnosing lead wire is connected to a cable to be measured to avoid an electric shock in a hot-line deterioration diagnosing work and the ground wire for diagnosing the hot-line deterioration. SOLUTION: Signal processors 14, 24 and 34 each having a memory for programming all measuring works of hot-line deterioration diagnosing and storing the works including an opening/closing operation of electromagnetic switch 11 of the hot-line deterioration diagnosing apparatus 1 and an opening/ closing unit 31 of an existing ground wire 30 are respectively attached to a measuring instrument 10, a remote controller 20 and the wire 30 of the apparatus, and managed in the works so that no hand is necessarily brought into contact with an equipment having a fear of an electric shock during the work.
