PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the retaining mechanism of a tool, that can be easily adjusted to a desired retention position and is suited for installing, such tools as an analyzer and its parts. SOLUTION: A measurement bath 1 is connected to fixing surfaces 31a and 31b being fixed to trestles 2a and 3b by connection members 4b, 4c, and 5. The connection members 4b and 4c can adjust the distance between a connection point in the fixing surfaces 31 a and 31b and that in mounting plates 13a and 13b of the measurement bath 1. Also, in the connection member 5, the inclination angle and direction formed by a straight line for connecting the connection point in the fixing surface 31a and that in the mounting plate 13a in reference to the fixing surface 31a are made variable according to the external force. By adjusting the connection members 4b and 4c, the position of the measurement bath 1 can be adjusted to a desired position.
