PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a heat exchange rate by reducing a passage area between heat transfer fins while sufficiently increasing a heat transfer area of a heat transfer tube while facilitating fabrication. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger is provided in which on an outer periphery of a straight cylindrical heart transfer tube 7 through which a heat transfer fluid passes there is provided a plate-shaped heat transfer fins 8 longitudinally of the heat transfer tube 7... the heat transfer fin is constructed with a flat plate shaped plate fin 9 and a plate shaped uneven plate fin 10. The flat plate fin 9 and the uneven plate fin 10 are wound in spiral on the outer periphery of the heat transfer tube 7 by being doubly overlapped such that the uneven plate fin 10 is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the heat transfer tube 7, and the uneven plate fin 10 is located between the adjacent flat plate fins 9 radially of the heat transfer tube 7.
