PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a plasma display device without generating noise, requiring power consumption for cooling, and moreover, without much increase in the volume of the device. SOLUTION: The heat generated from exothermic electronic parts 12a-12c, 14a, 14b, and 22 mounted on a plasma display panel 4a and a panel 6a for the electronic parts is conducted by heat pipes 11a, 11b and a heat pipe 21, which are attached to the above exothermic electronic parts at one end, and are attached to each part of a case 1a for fitting the heat pipes at the other end, up to the heat pipe fitting use case 1a formed of a high heat conductive material. The case 1a for fitting the pipes dissipates the heat generated by the exothermic electronic parts 12a-12c, 14a, 14b, and 22 and conducted via the heat pipes 11a, 11b, and a heat pipe 21 from an exposed part forming a part of the externals of the device.
