The subject matter of the invention is an air purifier, which comprises a body 1, a blower device 2 inside the body, openings 3, 4 in the body for inlet air and outlet air and the filters 5, 6, 7 in the openings or in proximity thereto. In the air purifier according to the invention there is an air guide 8, which is made from a sound-insulating material, such as plastic foam or the like and which has been located inside the body in proximity to the blower device. The air guide 8 extends from the blower device 2 to the outer edge 9 of the opening 4 for the outlet air. <IMAGE>
