CABLE CORE CUTTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable core cutting apparatus which assures stable holding force and surface accuracy even after the cutting for a flat cable core having different external diameter. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a first frame 5/second frame 6 for holding a cable core 2, a roller 3 for holding the cable core 2 and a cutting tool 4 for cutting the external circumference surface of the cable core 2. A compression spring 8 for adjusting an interval of both frames 5, 6 so that each roller 3 follows the external circumference surface of the cable core 2, a guide 7a coupled with the first frame 5 and a slider 7b which slides along the guide 7a depending on the interval adjustment of both frames 5, 6 and coupled with the second frame 6 are also provided. A cutting tool 4 is allocated to the first frame 5 with the blade thereof and the shaft of roller 3a provided closely to the longitudinal direction of the first frame 5.
