PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control method and a motor control apparatus, which enable overload detection and overcurrent detection of various motors which differ in types, etc. SOLUTION: Voltages, corresponding to currents in the overcurrent states of a motor 2 which are also the overload states, are obtained for the respective revolutions of the motor 2. Furthermore, the voltages are obtained for each type of the motor 2 and stored in a memory 10a. A control circuit 10, which controls the motor 2 reads out the voltage corresponding to the type and the revolution of the motor 2 from the memory 10a and converts the voltage into an analog value and outputs the value from a DA output port to a comparison circuit 11. The control circuit 10 receives the output (comparison result) of the comparison circuit 1, which compares a voltage (voltage corresponding to a current applied to the motor 2) detected by a shunt resistor 5 with the voltage supplied from the DA output through an input port and detects overloads, as well as overcurrents, by each revolutions of the motor 2. |
