PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board inspecting adapter device capable of certainly achieving the required electric connections even for such a circuit board to be inspected that the electrodes to be inspected are arranged with a very small pitch in high density. SOLUTION: The circuit board inspecting adapter device 10 is composed of a body 12 having a wiring layer and an anisotropically conductive connector layer 15 provided rigidly on the wiring layer, wherein the wiring layer of the adapter body 12 is furnished at the surface with an electrode 40 for connection arranged as mating with the electrode of a circuit board 20, and a terminal electrode 30 positioned at each grating point is formed on the undersurface of the board, and two or more layers of intra-layer wiring parts are formed in the wiring layer. The inspecting method and device according to the present invention are established by incorporating the described adapter device.
