<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate inputting/detecting device which automatically detect the generation of any thinning during the plotting of characters or graphics on a touch panel, and automatically correct the thinning part to a continuing part without requiring any replotting or the like. SOLUTION: Relating to a coordinate inputting/detecting device 1, not only coordinate information related with an instructed position by an instructing means but also vector coordinate values indicating the direction and length of the change are successively obtained by a vectorizing means 53 so that when the interruption of a plotted instruction line is detected by detach and retouch detection on a touch panel 3, whether or not the interruption is thinning can be properly judged by referring to the vector coordinate values by a chinning judging means 56. When the interruption is thinning, the thinning part is automatically corrected by the thinning correction processing means 6 so as to be continued. Thus, plotting without any interruption due to thinning can be attained.</p> |
