COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING EXTENDED PPP FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize differentiation between the case that a user accessing an access point of an ISP accesses an access server of a head office from a remote place by using a tunneling protocol and the case that the user utilizes a general Internet access by means of a simple means. SOLUTION: An address field and a control field having been used for fixed values in a frame configuration of a conventional PPP are utilized and an identification code value to identify combinations of option data, an identification code value in an access mode in an ISP access, a transfer destination address value and an identification code value of a host protocol and an application corresponding to a priority sequence are set to the fields.
