PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducing device capable of easily providing multi-picture display composed of still pictures extracted from specified parts in consecutive images. SOLUTION: When the multi-picture display of consecutive images is instructed by operating a camera mode button and a display switch button, a system controller 28 reads consecutive images recorded on a recording medium 26, displays a top still picture in these read consecutive images inside a top block, displays a tail still picture in a tail block and displays the still pictures in the respective remaining blocks extracted at almost equal time intervals from the top still picture to the tail still picture. When the still picture in any block is changed, with that change, the still pictures in the respective blocks are changed at almost equal time intervals from the still picture in the top block to the still picture in the changed block and from the still picture in the changed block to the still picture in the tail block.
