PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to energy saving and fire prevention by preventing an electric foot warmer, a TV set, etc., from being left on. SOLUTION: This timer device is mounted with an operation setting button for a timer capable of turning on/off a power supply at a preselected time. In addition, it is mounted with a device allowing a working time period to be set by means of an operation setting button, a device for indicating the expiration of the timer by sound of a message or by flashing of light a little before or just when the set time period passes, a device allowing the same working time period to be set with a single motion as is set by operating an operation setting button if the working time period is wanted to be continued, and a device allowing a different working time period to be set by a different operation. This enables an electric apparatus to be used continuously. However, the power supply is automatically cut off if any operation setting button is not operated.
