PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube device, having an electron gun improving resolution over the entire screen by improving a beam spot shape without adding stem lead wires. SOLUTION: In this device, an electron beam generating part for generating an electron beam has a cathode and a plurality of electrodes. Two electrodes G2, G3 of these electrodes are connected to each other via a resistor 21. To one electrode G2, a uniform voltage is applied from the outside of the tube. To an electrode G4 adjacent the other electrode G3, a voltage is supplied which varies dynamically in synchronization with a deflecting magnetic field.
