PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call attention to the existence of a vending machine and to save power with respect to lighting at night of a vending machine. SOLUTION: The vending machine is comprised of a display chamber 3 formed by partitions on the front side of an outer door 2, commodity samples 5 representing commodities for sale, display plates indicating cold/hot states and prices of commodities for sale, commodity selection buttons 14 for commodity selection, and a transparent plate 13 arranged in the front of the display chamber 3, and a light-transmissive light storage material is used for the transparent plate 13 and commodity selection button 14. Thus, customers' attention is called to the existent of the vending machine even at night, and power is saved without reducing a capability of attracting customers.
