PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording/reproducing device that can ensure original reinforcing operation, and at the same time, improve transportation efficiency by adopting a movable-type reinforcing member. SOLUTION: A reinforcing member 8A is mounted movably in a cutout part 2C provided on a pair of side plates 2B and 2B of a mechanical deck 2. Each bending surface of the reinforcing member is screwed in by a screw 10 via screw holes 8a and 2b so as to be rotatably mounted to the mechanical deck 2. Screwing by the screw 10 is made with a force such as to be capable of turning. On assembling, the reinforcing member fits each projection part 2a to a fitting hole 8b for achieving original position and is fixed surely to the mechanical deck itself. When the assembly is completed, and a package is to be shipped, the reinforcing member is set to off position, and each projection part being fitted to each fitting hole disengages for turning downward. The original reinforcing operation of the reinforcing member can be ensured, and also the reinforcing member can be accommodated within the height range of the mechanical deck, reducing the height itself of a box body for packaging a set and hence improving transportation efficiency. |
