PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital multiplexed transmission system constituted so as to perform multiplexing by automatically allocating transmission slots to each digital stream according to digital information rate and to reduce delay time jitters. SOLUTION: Slot allocation information is inserted into a multiplexed frame, formed by allocating each transmission slot to transmission of each digital stream and transmitted based on a point of time, when fixed quantity of digital data are inputted in buffer memories 21a to 21c from each digital stream, a transmission slot on which a desired digital stream is multiplexed is selected, and the digital data are separated based on information to indicate allocation on the receiving side 40. |
