PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display and photographing device with which the object such as a human body can be photographed on the front, a remote conversation device with the sight lines of speakers coincident with each other can be realized, and the device can be made thin without using a liquid crystal projector. SOLUTION: The display and photographing device is composed of a display device 11 which displays an image by driving a reverse mode polymer dispersion liquid crystal with a plurality of electrodes, and a camera 12 equipped with a polarizing plate 14 which transmits only the polarized light component the reverse mode polymer dispersion liquid always transmits. A light guide plate is disposed in contact with the reverse mode polymer dispersion liquid crystal panel, and a light source is disposed on the side of the light guide plate. Light guide plates are disposed on both faces of the reverse mode polymer dispersion liquid crystal panel. A wavelength plate is disposed on the object side of the display device. A hologram mirror is disposed on one face of the display device, and the object and the camera are disposed on the other side of the display device. |
