PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which can properly correct its errors and also can improve its transmission efficiency by dividing the data on a prescribed unit time in response to the ratio between a period having a small number of errors and a period having a large number of errors, rearranging the divided data in every period and transmitting theses data. SOLUTION: On the transmitting side, the multiplexing is carried out by a control 1 and error detection codes are added via redundancy checks 2 and 3. Then, data are inputted in a period having a small number of noises and a period having a large number of noises in the unit called symbol. Thus, the error corrections 4 and 5 perform the error correction (FEC) processing by means of an R-S polynomial and then rearrange the data after the EFC (conversion processing). The converted data are processed in an interleave part 6, a tone ordering part 7, a gain scaling part 8, an inverse discrete Fourier transform part 9, a buffer 10 and an A/D converter 11 respectively and then outputted to a communication device on the receiving side via a transmission line.
