PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain stable reproduction by moving plural disks, providing a space in the recording surface side of a specified disk, to which a reading means is movable, and widening a gap between the backside of the recording surface and an adjacent disk. SOLUTION: Trays A and B have disks loaded therein, housed in a magazine 5, and supported so as to be moved perpendicular to the main surfaces of the trays A and B. One end of each of tray holding arms 43 to 48 is attached to a player housing 2 via each of pins 43a to 48a so as to be freely slid, and the other end is pivotally fixed to each of a slide frames 61 to 66 via each of pins 43b to 48b. Sliding pins 43c to 48c are engaged as cam followers with the cam grooves 30a to 30f of a cam member 30. When the cam member 30 is rotated, each of the slide frames 61 to 66 is engaged with each of the trays A and B according to its rotating position, and thus each of the trays A and B is moved in a direction vertical to each main surface. Thus, a specified space is set in the recording surface or the backside of a desired disk.
