PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To water-tightly connect a synthetic resin pipe into an acceptor without twisting or sliding a rubber ring that is mounted by arranging support members that are not protruded outer than a, side surface of the rubber ring, on both side parts of the rubber ring of a spigot so as to support the side surface of the rubber ring. SOLUTION: A spigot 1 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of one end part to which a rubber ring 14 of a synthetic resin pipe P is mounted by fixing supporting members 15 composed of a pair of annular bodies to both side parts of the rubber ring 14 so as to support both side surfaces of the rubber ring 14. Each inner circumferential surface of the support members 15 is formed as a recessed and projection surface matched with projections 12 and narrow grooves 11 formed along an outer peripheral surface of the synthetic resin pipe P. Outer diameter of the supporting member 15 is formed smaller than an inner diameter of an acceptor, and the height of the supporting member 15 is set to about 2/3 of the height of the rubber ring 14. Adhesive agent may be used as means for fixing with the outer peripheral surface of the synthetic resin pipe P of the supporting member 15, or it may be fixed by means of fusing.
