PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage X-ray shield mechanism capable of providing shielding against leakage X-rays other than X-rays condensed by X-ray guide tubes. SOLUTION: In an XGT cartridge 1a having an X-ray source 2 which radiates an X-ray Rx and X-ray guide tubes 3a, 3b made from glass allowing the X-ray Rx to impinge on the inner peripheral surface thereof, metallic protective pipes 5a, 5b are provided which are positioned outside the X-ray guide tubes 3a, 3b to enable shielding against X-rays transmitted through the side faces of the X-ray guide tubes 3a, 3b.
