PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a gate array comprising firm macrocells efficiently while shortening the manufacturing time. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a semiconductor device comprises a step for preparing a firm macrochip 11, a step for preparing an IC chip 10 having an area 13 for mounting the firm macrochip and an area 15 where a gate array is formed, and a step for mounting the firm macrochip 11 in the mounting area 13 of the IC chip 10. According to the method, a gate array comprising firm macrocells can be manufactured efficiently while shortening the manufacturing time. |
