PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of an operator and to perform speedy correspondence to customers by performing issuing processing of all issuing data that have already been accumulated in the queue of a bankbook/certificate issuing machine by another machine in case a fault occurrs. SOLUTION: A device network is constructed by connecting one or more terminals and a plurality of bankbook/certificate issuing machines by a LAN, etc. In case a fault occurrs in medium issuing processing of a bankbook/ certificate issuing machine #1 when the machine #1 receives a medium issuing request from a terminal #1 in such a configuration, the machine #1 transmits issuing end notification (abnormality) to the terminal #1 being a request source. Next, a substitute bankbook/certificate issuing machine address table is referred to, and the presence/absence of the address of a bankbook/certificate issuing machine indicated by a priority index is decided by comparing the number of connectable machines of the substitute bankbook/certificate issuing machine address table with each other. When the address is present, the address of a bankbook/certificate issuing machine indicated by the priority index is acquired and an issuing request is transmitted to the address. |
