PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection sensitivity of a target compound that cannot be detected by a normal sensor without any polymer and to improve detection by arranging a polymer film containing at least one type of hard and soft block components on the surface of the sensor. SOLUTION: A polymer film gives a sensor where the detection capacity of a certain type of target compound such as hydrocarbon and chlorinated hydrocarbon steam has been improved. These kinds of target compounds cannot be normally detected by a certain type of sensor. These sensors function within a weight measurement region. More specifically, the response of the sensor is normally mass-sensitive essentially, so that the sensor is not vibrated or only vibration that cannot be detected is generated. Improvement in the capacitor for detecting a certain type of target compound is considered to be made by the increase in the polymer steam affinity between at least partially the target compound and a polymer film-fitting sensor. As the polymer steam affinity increases, measurement sensitivity improves. |
