PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel of high luminance without being affected by irradiating light. SOLUTION: A dielectric multilayered film 17 having a multilayered structure of high refractive index films (silicon films) and low refractive index thin films (silicon oxide films) is formed instead of a black matrix on a TFT device 7. Thereby, the irradiating light is reflected by the dielectric multilayered film 17 and does not reach a TFT element 7. This means that an increase in the OFF current in the TFT due to light or increase in temperature can be suppressed.
